THE ONLY WAY ELECTORAL REFORM CAN HAPPEN IS THROUGH PARLIAMENT

If in 2018, and now in 2019, people don't have the common sense to know that the number of people on a voters list can never and will never be a reflection of the total population on island at any given time, then I give up.

We have thousands of Dominicans, who either don't reside on island or are temporarily away from island for one reason or another.

So what the UWP are saying is that once you leave the island, for a minute, for a day or longer, your name should be taken off the voters list till you come back and you may even have to re-register.

What 'nonesense' is this?

The Electorate isn't playing musical chairs, so that once you get up and you don't grab a chair in time you lose you space, rights, privileges and you're out of the game(i.e. elections).

Further how can the CCM demonstrate to enact something that they blocked form occurring at the courts. THE ONLY WAY ELECTORAL REFORM CAN HAPPEN IS THROUGH PARLIAMENT. So if the CCM have tied the hands of Parliament, how then can they get voter Id cards, cleaning of the list and confirmation of electors and in some cases re-registration?

I guess it will be a case of blue voters alone will be able to exercise their franchise and to hell with everybody else!
