This is exactly what the people who spread these rumors are.
They will latch on to any diseased, smelling bit of gossip and bask in it.
They don't care to find the truth, as long as they can focus attention away from their own miserable existence they okay.
I know for a fact that maggots don't survive without filth and even if they make it to become flies; they don't live long in the real world.
