The United Workers Party, continues to be in a state of panic.  

The announcement of candidates made at Londonderry signals another humiliating UWP defeat at the polls. The person experiencing the highest level of panic is Lennox Linton. He is under serious pressure from his candidates and members of his party. 

They are complaining bitterly that the party is unprepared for the election campaign mostly because the party has no money. Some have accused Linton of raising money on the party's behalf and using it to support his expensive lifestyle, while they languish in political pauperism. 

Joshua Francis confronted Linton on this matter in a recently  held meeting. Linton flew into a rage and went on to berate Joshua. 

Needless to say, Joshua has been replaced by Rosie Felix to contest the Roseau South constituency for UWP. 

Ezekiel Bazil will be replaced and Monnel Williams may also be  replaced. 

Linton is also very worried that someone from Marigot is now in the company of Peter Pros and Ras Kelly.
