My Fellow Brothers and Sisters, Hon. Dr. Roosevelt Skerrit is still the Political Leader of the Dominica Labour Party, and the Dominica Labour Party is still the same party we all voted for.
We have a new list of candidates who has been recommend by the People and the Delegates and Approved by our Hon. Prime Minister, to take up the mantle of their predecessors, to keep the Party ongoing and vibrant to the next level.
Hon. Dr. Roosevelt Skerrit has assured us that nobody has been cast aside, and every member of the DLP will continue to play a significant role in the continued success of the party, and in the further development of the Commonwealth of Dominica.
The new candidates chosen by Hon. Dr. Roosevelt Skerrit, were chosen as a result of the changing times, and the fact that these minds of great experience will add new flavor to the party as many of the candidates are very young and can better understand the youths of today, and the ever changing social trends.
Most importantly is that the new team of the Dr. Roosevelt Skerrit led Dominica Labour Party, is a mixture and balance of gender, ages and ideas which creates a more diverse Dominica Labour Party who can better understand and cater to the needs of all the Citizens of our Beautiful Island.
There are now ten men and ten women balanced, along with our Hon. Prime Minister, so the mixture of ages and the balance of gender and experience will surely award us a more diverse Dominica Labour Party, which as I said will bare more fruits of Success and Prosperity in the continued growth and development of the Commonwealth of Dominica.
Leadership by example is what Dr. Roosevelt Skerrit has showed, and is admired and respected by many Leaders on both a Regional and International Level.
A Great Leader knows when vital changes and adjustments has to be made to better enhance Productivity and continued Progress, and this is what True Leadership is all about.
Hon. Dr. Roosevelt Skerrit has exemplified the true and solid qualities and characteristics of a Great Leader, and we must continue to trust and have faith in his Leadership skills.
We are Labour to de Bone, and we are going all the way up and onwards with Hon. Dr. Roosevelt Skerrit and the Dominica Labour Party.
