Her all so loving and compassionate nature has already crowned the manner of woman whom Mrs. Skerrit has been known to be throughout her life.
A woman who selflessly looks out for others, and is always willing to give a listening ear in order to lend a helping hand to those who are less fortunate.
The true nature of the Pure Love and Compassion of an individual is reflected in the manner by which he or she treats the children of the land, like the word of God says, "Let the Children come to me and do not discourage them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these." Any man or woman who shows true love and compassion to the children of any land, is truely an individual worthy of admiration and respect.
Mrs. Melissa Poponne Skerrit has full heartedly over the years, taken up the duty of caring and providing for the less fortunate among our children in Society, aiding in school feeding programmes and visiting our little ones at the various schools around the island.
The way she interacts with the children speaks volumes in the sincerity of her smile, as she radiates joy and happiness especially when she is surrounded by the children.
A Woman on a Mission to bring joy and happiness to our children, and to bring relief and support to needy families of the Roseau Central Constituency in particular, which has been an intimate part of the growth and development of Mrs. Skerrit from since she was a little girl.
Mrs. Skerrit has always been a giver, as during her school days she would often share her school breakfast and lunch with her fellow school mates who were not fortunate to have, taking less for herself, but would be much satisfied knowing that she helped those who had nothing to eat.
What can one really say about such an individual? What words can fairly define her?
Because of her selfless nature to Love and Care for others, the voice of the people has sounded the call to Mrs. Skerrit to run for Political Office, and after selfless consideration, she has taken view that running for Political Office would indeed be the ultimate way to more efficiently reach out and spread her heart and hands of giving, helping, and serving the children and their families, and entire Communities by extension, and being elected into Office as a Parliamentary Representative to take up the Position as Minister of Government, would truly afford her greater and more efficient access to spread her heart and giving on a much wider scale, as she will stand in representation of the people and will be able to fight a better fight for the continued growth and development of not just the Constituents of the Roseau Central Constituency, but her fight for Dominica as a whole, to make better, the lives of as much people as she humanly can.
Mrs. Melissa Poponne Skerrit is not your average TALK OUT AIR individual, Mrs. Skerrit is a Woman of Less Talk, More Action to better the Lives of the People of Dominica.
My fellow brothers and sisters we must always bare in Hearts and Minds that a Vote for Mrs. Melissa Poponne Skerrit is not just a vote for you the Constituents of the Roseau Central Constituency, but a vote for a greater Dominica as her Love and Generosity is not just Limited to Roseau Central, but is spread throughout all the children and families of this Land.
