An elderly man in Barbados , is fed up of asking for help with fixing his one bedroom wooden structure which is in dire need of repair.

Seventy-nine-year-old Percy said that he has depended on promises from Members of Parliament of Barbados and has still not received the help he so desperately needs.

He said he asked the previous Member of Parliament to help him replace rotted boards, install new flooring as the old one is disappearing and fix the roof.

However, Howell said that the Labour Party of Barbados (DLP) representative promised help was coming, but it never came.

Governments all over the world want to help all citizens but many times it is not possible, many of these elders have been abandoned by their kids living in America.

Here in Dominica the Dominica Labour Party is building communities for its people.
