LINTON’S RECORD: A REAL THREAT!

  1. Linton was expelled from the Grammar school for an act of violence;
  2. CANA refused to renew his contract;
  3. Dame Eugenia Charles did not think Linton was competent or fit to be manager of the state-owned radio station DBS;
  4. Linton
    1. was fired from Marpin Television;
    2. was fired (made redundant) by DCP;
    3. was fired by Observer Radio in the following terms
    4. “You are advised that effective immediately, you are terminated from your position as News Director for cause. This action is based on your blatant disregard for agreements made by the senior management of this station, your actions which continue to place this station at risk of further legal action and the resulting insubordination toward me as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.”
  5. Linton submitted numerous applications for jobs but no one in the private or public sector acknowledged his applications;
  6. Linton travelled several times with Edison James to St Kitts at the same time in 2004/2005 when Edison acted as a salesman for Henley & Partners. The then Prime Minister explained Mr James’ role as travelling salesman in a television broadcast in St Kitts;
  7. Linton was part of Edison James’ inner circle when James flew to Switzerland in 2004/2005 to negotiate campaign funding in exchange for diplomatic postings for his 2005 campaign;
  8. Linton was an integral part of the UWP campaign in 2005, and later in 2009 which was managed by Cambridge Analytica and SCL;
  9. The amounts paid to the UWP by foreign financiers in 2005 and 2009 was over seven (7) million ECD;
  10. Linton worked in the 2010 campaign of the Kitts Labour Party and was paid by SCL;
  11. Linton worked in the 2011 campaign of Saint Lucia’s UWP in 2011 and was not paid by that party. However, SCL was directly involved in that campaign;
  12. Linton has been sued a number of times. He has lost overtime a case is heard by the Courts. The result was significant damages and costs paid to Kieron Pinard Byrne;
  13. Linton’s first and only dive into foreign policy was the recognition of the tainted Polisario in Western Sahara; and
  14. After Hurricane Maria, Linton’s declared policy was that it was not his business to help or seek assistance for any constituent. Instead, he began a campaign of lies and smears to undermine the critical post Maria relief and recovery efforts.
At no time throughout these years did Linton articulate, competently or intelligently, one (1) social, economic, or ideological position for the benefit of our people.

There ought to be no question therefore that for the first time since Independence in 1979 Dominica faces a real and singular threat to its development, democracy, rule of law and people in Lennox Linton. 

The reason is simple; Linton is unhinged and incompetent. 

Therefore, if uncontrollable, incompetent and unhinged in Opposition, there can no serious question that election to the halls of power will immediately unleash venom and retaliation through the veins and mouth of Lennox Linton to the great detriment and suffering of people and country.
