Police Release Inciter of Violence and Civil Disobedience
Calypsonian, Dave “Soul Puss” Pascal who was arrested by police on Saturday morning (March 6, 2019) has been released.
Pascal was involved in a protest action at Marigot on Friday march 5, 2019. He was also the emcee the night before (Thursday march 4) at a UWP meeting at Marigot, where he asked villagers to take part in civil disobedience and block roads.
According to information reaching DNO, Pascal was released on Saturday afternoon.
Although Pascal was released, police say they continue to investigate the matter.
