DOES SIZE REALLY MATTER?

These days there are many Face Book experts all over the world, including DOMINICA.

One simply has to speak to an expert or Google the standards width of roads and bridges to seek clarity.

Then you go to the bridge in question and measure it.

But some would say I will not drive to Portsmouth to make sure my half baked comment is correct or not. But those of us who are street smart, we don't need to drive there to measure the bridge.

  • Simply trace the inner points of the bridge on paper
  • do the same for the blue cylinder
  • see how many time the blue cylinder fits within the said space
  • there you have it
According to the 100 lb cylinder [14 inches wide] measurements.....21 cylinders x 14" cylinder.. 294" divided by 12.. = 24.5'.. = bridge

The pathway for vehicles is about 24 feet wide.......

We would like to thank the Government of Dominica for making good on these roads and bridges, so much to do, but you are doing it.

Common sense is not provided by the easily acquired.
