Bertley Carrette of Layou has been a Boat builder for several years. Mr Carrette has been instrumental in the training of young men from the surrounding communities in passing on the skill that he loves. Having recieved assistance from the Government of Dominica Bertley has been able to provide employment for several young men from the nearby communities of layou and St. Joseph.
