UWP candidates after learning that Lennox Linton received $1,320,000.00 million in campaign funds, are no longer willing to dip in their pockets to personally pay for campaign expenses. These are the same funds Brian Linton was depositing at the Credit Union illegally.
Linton was hoping that this money would have been kept a secret but SOSO and Joshua who where not happy with how Linton was using the money, blew the whistle.
When confronted by disgruntled candidates at a recent meeting, Lennox asked for more time to prepare a report to show how the money has been used and how much is left.
Members are asking for an audit as they feel the books will be cooked.
Meanwhile candidates threatened to step down and vowed not to do any campaigning until Linton makes the money available to them, and audited accounts.
