I would admire those persons who can write (or present to the public…) much better than me. One such is LENNOX LINTON (his gift of the gab is impressive). Another is GREGOR NASSIEF.
Unfortunately, the former’s utterances are mostly fueled by political LIES and MISCHIEF-making. The latter (Gregor) is a successful businessman but also one of the rare ones known to ‘speak-up’ for or against any politician. Now consider these statements made on Sept 3rd by L.L. on Q9 with Matt:- “… arrangements that people like those responsible for Jungle Bay and those responsible for the villas at Secret Bay, its Residences, the Anichi, Mr. Alick Lawrence and others are benefitting from…” (EIW COMMENT: is it wrong for investors to benefit from their project??) “..Friends of the Government are benefiting from the real estate arrangements that are part of the Citizenship by Investment program. Is anyone who is a “friend” of the govt precluded from doing business with the State? Has this become a crime? “…
And you can understand now why is it that these agents and these people who are benefitting, these locals are keeping their mouth shut..
Nobody is speaking up for operating it properly (??) in the public interest. (Is “properly” only by YOUR definition? Before your outrageous claim that $1.2 Billion of CBI-related monies was “missing” did you raise any questions within the Parl Accounts C’tee that you supposedly chair? “…
Because it appears from what we are seeing with Kempinski (??) that there is a lot of money for these people, these locals, these friends of Skerrit, the Sam Raphaels, the Gregor Nassiefs, the Alick Lawrences and so on to make… to make over and above what is needed for the hotel development…what is needed for the construction. There is a lot of money for them to make given this Kempinski model…???
(Again, the slanderous insinuation is clear… Seems to me that Kempinski has a case to JOIN up with Gregor’s coming lawsuit against L L , -- not to mention some of the other hoteliers named by LL. And REMEMER also that he currently faces BANKRUPTCY proceedings that could affect his seat in Parliament!)

Consider my opening lines:-
“…While the legal implications of these statements are being pursued, I have, at your invitation decided to “unshut” my mouth, and respond to what I consider to be at best intellectual dishonesty and at worst intellectual INCOMPETENCE
(PRB COMMENT: so appropriate noting that LL NEVER graduated from any secondary school or beyond – despite having TWO TEACHERS as PARENTS who certainly VALUED formal education. I assume that (the even then) arrogant LL likely informed them there was NOTHING more he could LEARN from anyone else…Ah magwe, sah…. )
Continuing now with GN’s comments “My response, again at your invitation (remember Karessah???) is intended to also provide anyone willing to read, an insider’s view of the CBI program and how it works.
Though the program is relatively complex, it continues to astound me the numerous myths and fallacies that abound about the CBI program
(PRB: mostly propagated by the political gang on Q95!) and how few people really understand how the program works, and more astounding is how anyone could really take seriously an allegation that EC$1. 2 Billion could “go missing” in an economy the size of ours…”
