Jousha not fit to be a parliamentarian

Joshua will not be able to take the oath on nomination day due to his unstable mental state.

Dominica Opposition Parliamentarian, Joshua Francis narrowly escaped arrest in Barbados last evening, when he barged into a meeting of the ruling Barbados Labour Party, demanding an audience with Barbados Prime Minister Hon. Mia Amor Mottley.

Francis was not known to security officials and his "unstable demeanor" alerted the Prime Minister's bodyguards to the fact that "something was not right.”
They surrounded the diminutive Dominica Legislator as he moved towards Prime Minister Mottley, insisting he wanted to take a picture next to her.

As security officials were about to "pounce" it was pointed out to the Officer in charge that Francis was in fact a Dominican Legislator, with a known psychiatric problem.

The fact that he is currently before the Dominica Law Courts on charges of Child Sex Abuse and Molestation, also served to hasten the exit of Prime Minister Mottley from the scene, as officials were not keen to have her photographed with such a discredited and unstable individual.

It is still not known, the reason for Mr Francis crashing an event held by the Barbados Labour Party, that is known to be aligned to the ruling Dominica Labour Party in Roseau.
