Greetings and good morning all.
As we celebrate the first anniversary of our victory let's us each reflect on the tremendous strides our country had made under the stewardship of our party.
There is no doubt this party has been and continues to be the only party which genuinely cares for our country and its people.
Sometimes we lament on what we have not achieved and forget to thank God for what we have achieved together by the Grace if God.
Let today we that day when we stop and look back at the road we have travelled in order to chart the way forward mindful that out task is not over.
I thank each of you for your commitment and contribution. All we do must continue to be rooted in humility.
May Lord give us all the continued strength and wisdom to help his people here on earth.
Notwithstanding the challenges we currently face, we are reminded that He will never give us more than we shall bear. We have gone through challenges in the past and we have surmounted those challenges because we did it TOGETHER and with the help of God.
The current challenge is only a test of our faith. Let us all renew our faith in our God, our party, each other and in ourselves. I pray that the Lord of Moses and Isaac and Job will keep us United as we do his work.
Never underestimate your contribution to that cause irrespective your station within the party. The party needs you.
The country needs the Dominica Labour Party. Giving up on the people should never be an option.
