LENNOX LINTON IS FOR SELF, BUYS HIMSELF A BRAND NEW $150,000.00 CAR FOR CHRISTMAS WHILE HE CALLS DOMINICANS POOR

While Skerrit was distributing ham and turkey to Dominicans for Christmas, Lennox Linton was busy shopping around to buy himself a brand new SUV costing over $100,000.

It is nothing strange for Linton to look out for himself while his followers are forgotten and left with an empty bag. After Hurricane Maria, he went to Antigua to get a generator just himself.

Two scholarships were awarded to Marigot and he took both for his children. Also, he has never given an account of how much money was actually collected from the radiothons and how it was spent. 

People are still waiting to hear about the suspicious bag left at his house by a man named Terry Baron. Rumors had it that the bag contained a million US dollars. 

Also,  it has never been disclosed how much money he received from the Polisario Front and other fundraising events held abroad. What we do know is that his lifestyle doesn't match that of a man on an opposition leader salary. 

Linton knows very well that his position as party leader will be soon gone and that he will not be the UWP candidate for Marigot in the next election. So he doesn't care what party or supporters think of him. 

So if Linton buys himself an expensive car for Christmas while his party candidates and supporters stay krananah, he well deserve it. Don't forget he is the one who gave his party the violent image it now has.

Linton is the only opposition leader to incite his party to burn Roseau, block roads, attempted to violently shut down the airport, and threatened people with death to prevent labour from winning a 5th term in office. 

Linton will be Linton and Dominicans know him well enough and will never put him in charge of the country purse strings. So let the man enjoy his new car in his twilight years as an outgoing opposition leader and retired politician.
