APP Alex Parol Party

ALEX PAROL PARTY APP
Over the past year and a half on a few occasions, I have heard Alex's denials of affiliation with the new APP party. Now I will assert it is his right to associate with whomever and whatever he wants but I think it's rather disingenuous to now declare that you were a founding member when you knew the real truth at the time you were denying your association with the party. And this is THE issue I had from the start - the concealment of the players who were obviously hiding behind the scenes.

The voter wants to know who the "leader" is or "leaders" are behind a political movement from the start. That is especially true in our politics; otherwise, the public will determine that you've started off with deceit, and that can never be good.

A political party is not like a company, where a board of directors can be shielded from the customer base. In politics, you must declare who you are, and the general public knew, from the start, that the 4 ladies who were brought into the limelight were "placeholders", or as we say it, "keeping somebody seat warm for dem".

That became further evident when the stated "Interim President" was replaced by a "President". Now she's the "Political Leader" but no one believes that either. The longer you take before you answer the "who is the leader" question, the worse it gets for you. So even before you start to swim you gasping for air, working against a rip tide that can only drown you if you don't know how to swim against it.

Coming back to the denials. When the APP had it first radio program on Q95, I listened in and I distinctly remember that towards the end of the program, they opened up the lines for calls. There was one caller - Alex. (I was subsequently told that he called offline instructing them to accept calls so he could call in). In his call, he congratulated the ladies for starting the party and stepping forward into a leadership role in the country, and he offered his services should they need advice. Very noble, I must say, but why offer your services to them when you knew that you were writing their script all along?

Deceit.
