Lennox Linton's party has been engulfed in fresh scandal as it emerged that the President of the UWP Youth Arm had been arrested on Monday on suspicion of rape of a minor.
The Youth President's arrest followed a complaint Police said – and related to offences alleged to have been committed between 2020 and 2022.
In a statement, the Met said “a man, aged in his 50s, was arrested on suspicion of indecent assault, sexual assault and rape, He remains on bail. “The offences are alleged to have occurred in Dominica. An investigation is ongoing, led by officers from the Police Rape Task Force.
The Leader of the UWP has not made any public statement on the matter, nor has the Vice President of the UWP Youth Arm.
